Robert Whittaker faces Bogdan Guskov in second light
heavyweight bout
Whittaker (27-9) snapped a two-fight losing streak in his light
heavyweight debut, stopping Nikita
Krylov in the third round in July. The former middleweight
champion will now face Guskov (18-4-1) in front of his hometown
crowd.
Guskov is coming off a stoppage loss to Magomed
Ankalaev after accepting their
UFC Abu Dhabi main event on short notice in July. “Hitman” had
been unbeaten in his previous five bouts, including a draw against
Jan
Blachowicz.
UFC Sydney is headlined by a lightweight clash between Quillan
Salkilld and Benoît
Saint Denis.
