Raul Rosas Jr. steps in on one day’s notice, submits Colby
Covington ahead of their RAF matches

Rosas Jr. attended the Hype FC press conference and stepped up to
replace Danis. “El Nino Problema” took the former interim
Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight champion down with
his first attempt. He then took Covington’s back and locked in a
rear-naked choke, forcing the tap in just 40 seconds.

This marks Covington’s first loss since he last fought in the UFC
in 2024. “Chaos” has picked up five wins under the Real American
Freestyle banner, including victories over Danis, Luke
Rockhold, Chris
Weidman, Arman
Tsarukyan and Belal
Muhammad. He is scheduled to face Khamzat
Chimaev at RAF Abu Dhabi on Nov. 14.

Meanwhile, Rosas Jr. will make his RAF debut against Clay Guida at
RAF 15 on Nov. 28.
