The
Ultimate Fighting Championship stays in Las Vegas for its
latest UFC Fight Night card, which is now official following the
weigh-ins.

The main event of
UFC Vegas 124 will see Waldo
Cortes-Acosta and Johnny
Walker clash at heavyweight. Both men had no issue coming in
under the 265-pound limit. All other fighters also made weight for
the event, making for a drama-free weigh-in.

Albeit due to a last-minute change, this is the first UFC main
event for Cortes-Acosta (17-4). „Salsa Boy“ is in desperate need of
a win after losing decisions to Alexander
Volkov and Curtis
Blaydes in his two most recent outings. Prior to the setbacks,
the Ultimate Kombat Fitness product had put together three straight
knockout wins, including one over Derrick
Lewis. The 35-year-old officially weighed 262 pounds.

Meanwhile, this is the fifth main event for Walker (23-10, 1 NC).
The exciting Brazilian recently moved to heavyweight, where he
knocked out Mick Parkin
with a knee. The Xtreme Couture member will look to start a win
streak at his new weight class. The 34-year-old weighed 239 pounds
for his latest fight.

UFC Vegas 124 will stream in its entirety on Paramount+. Prelims
begin at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, while the main card kicks off at 8
p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
