at BKB Dover on Nov. 20
Sparks has made a fast start to his bare-knuckle career, stopping
both of his first two opponents in a combined 53 seconds. He will
look to maintain his unbeaten record against Carmack (2-1), who has
also recorded two knockout victories under the BKB banner.
“I’m not coming to Dover to go the distance or leave anything to
the judges. I’m always looking for the finish. Carmack is next, and
I’m preparing to bring the same power that got me here. When that
bell rings, I’m going after him,” Sparks said in the press
release.
Carmack, a former Mid-American heavyweight champion with 16
professional boxing victories, will look to hand Sparks his first
defeat in bare-knuckle boxing.
“I’m not stepping into the Trigon just to be another name on
Sparks’ record. I’m coming to win, and if the opportunity is there,
I’m going to finish the fight,” Carmack said.
The Nov. 20 card is headlined by former world title challenger Hank
Lundy against Jairo
Santos in a welterweight bout. Kylle
McMillan and James Brown are scheduled to meet in the co-main
event.
