Misfits Boxing co-founder Kalle Sauerland says the promotion has
made a written offer to
Ultimate Fighting Championship CEO Dana White and Matchroom
Boxing chairman Eddie Hearn to face each other in a boxing
match.
Speaking to IFL TV, Sauerland said Misfits was close to agreeing on
terms with Hearn, while White had received the offer but had yet to
commit. Sauerland said he replaced his initial $20 million
winner-takes-all proposal with a $10 million offer.

“A lot of people asked me if it’s bulls**t and I said, ‘No it’s
not, I’ll pay $20 million for that’ so we put it in writing to Dana
and Eddie, called Eddie and actually with Eddie, we’re not far off,
I think he’d confirm that if you ask him on the terms,” Sauerland
said. “I’m not gonna lean out the boat because I’ve not totally
tied it up with Eddie but we’re close with Eddie and Dana has had
it in writing. And I changed it too from a $20 million winner takes
all to a $10 million straight offer now.”
Sauerland joked about staging the bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
the night after Tyson Fury fights Anthony Joshua, but said he had
yet to finalize terms with Hearn.
White and Hearn have traded public barbs throughout 2026, in part
over their respective roles in promoting and producing Fury vs.
Joshua. Hearn recently said he would welcome a public debate with
White, who has expressed frustration with repeated questions about
their rivalry.
