Alves (14-7), has gone 1-4 in his last five Octagon outings, most
recently suffering a Round 1 technical knockout loss at the hands
of Ikram

UFC 294
. It was the Brazilian’s first middleweight bout since
his
Ultimate Fighting Championship

Meanwhile, Magomedov (25-6) is on a two-fight skid after suffering
a Round 2 TKO loss against former middleweight champion Sean
Strickland
in July and a unanimous decision defeat at the hands
of Caio
Borralho
last November.
