Ultimate Fighting Championship will look to put on a more
satisfying main event than last week, as the
UFC Oklahoma City card is now official following the official
weigh-ins.

The UFC OKC main event will see two former champions clash, as
former welterweight king Kamaru
Usman takes on ex-middleweight champion Dricus Du
Plessis. Both men successfully made weight for the five-round
middleweight main attraction. As for the rest of the card,
lightweight Chase
Hooper and featherweight Ezra
Elliott missed weight by 1.5 pounds for their respective
fights. As a result, they’ll each be fined 20% of their purses.
„The Nigerian Nightmare“ enters his latest headlining bout after
outwrestling Joaquin
Buckley last year. That unanimous decision victory snapped a
three-fight losing streak for Usman (21-4), who lost his belt to
Leon
Edwards before failing to regain the belt and coming up short
against Khamzat
Chimaev. The Nigerian fighter is 39-years-old and is looking to
make one final run at the belt. Usman officially weighed 186 pounds
on the dot.
Du Plessis (23-3) also recently lost to Chimaev, who took the
middleweight title from „Stillknocks.“ The South African fighter is
seven years younger than his opponent and is 9-1 inside the UFC.

The 32-year-old weighed 185.5 pounds for his latest main event.
UFC Oklahoma City will air live on Paramount+ on Saturday. The main
card starts at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, while the prelims begin at 5
p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.
