Brady headlined the first
UFC
card of his career against Burns at the UFC Apex in Las
Vegas on Saturday. Brady went on to outclass Burns in all aspects
to grind out a unanimous decision victory, which he acknowledges as
the biggest win of his career thus far.

Brady called out Garry in his post-fight Octagon interview, further
elaborating on it at the post-fight media scrum. The Philadelphia native
believes Garry thinks too highly of himself. Brady also called out
former title challenger Covington, whom he considers the easiest
matchup in the division. Brady vows to dominate “Chaos” both on the
feet and in the ground in a potential matchup.

“I think Ian just thinks that he is f—-ing God’s gift to earth and
he’s not. And I feel like everyone in the sport feels the same
way,” Brady said. “I mean I’ll fight him, I’ll fight Colby. I think
Colby’s the easiest matchup in this division. I’ll piece him up on
the feet. I’ll ragdoll him. But I would like to fight Ian. He’s an
up and comer. I’m a little bit older than him. But I’m gonna be
here for a long time. He’s undefeated, he’s got some hype. Before
he said, ‘I won’t fight guys who are ranked behind me.’ I’m gonna
be ranked ahead of him on Tuesday with that No.6 spot. So yeah,
maybe I’ll let him fight me.”

Brady is also intent on fighting against before February 2025, when
he is expecting a baby girl with his wife.

Brady’s win did not go unnoticed by welterweight champion Belal
Muhammad
, who handed the Philadelphia native his lone
professional defeat via technical knockout in October 2022.
“Remember the Name” acknowledged Brady as a tough potential rematch
while also suggesting that he fight former champ Kamaru
Usman
.

Garry is undefeated in eight UFC outings, with three finishes to
his credit. three finishes. “The Future” most recently earned a
decision victory over Michael
Page
at UFC 303 this past June.

Meanwhile, Covington doesn’t hold a win over any fighter who is
currently active in the UFC. The former interim champ last fought
at UFC 296 in December 2023, dropping a lopsided unanimous decision
against Leon
Edwards
in his third failed UFC title bid.
