Raoni
Barcelos
and Raul Rosas
Jr.
have reunited in Las Vegas following their
Ultimate Fighting Championship
main event.

The two bantamweights recently crossed paths and posed for a photo

Raul Rosas Jr. shares message of respect as Raoni Barcelos
continues medical tests after UFC Vegas 121

Barcelos was ahead on the judges’ scorecards entering the fifth
round before losing consciousness during a wrestling exchange.
Referee Herb Dean
stopped the bout, and Rosas Jr. was awarded a technical knockout
victory, snapping Barcelos’ five-fight winning streak.

The Brazilian veteran was transported to a hospital for evaluation
after being removed from the Octagon on a stretcher. The UFC
subsequently confirmed that he was stable, alert and responsive.
The 39-year-old later reassured fans that he was doing well.

Rosas Jr. wished Barcelos a speedy recovery in his postfight
interview. After their recent encounter, “El Nino Problema” shared
a photo on Instagram with the following caption:

“Much respect to this warrior. We went to war and left everything
in that octagon, giving it our all until the very end. That’s what
this sport is all about — two warriors willing to put everything on
the line for what they love. Having fought together, I got to see
firsthand the heart, toughness, and determination he has. It takes
a different kind of person to step into that cage, and he showed
exactly what kind of warrior he is. More than anything, I’m glad
he’s doing OK. At the end of the day, we’re competitors inside the
cage, but outside of it, it’s all love and respect. Nothing but
respect for you, brother. Wishing you a full recovery and nothing
but success in everything that comes next. Real warriors
forever.”
