Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Pimblett recently discussed the lightweight title picture on the
“Green Light” podcast, explaining that his approach to trash talk
depends on his opponent. While he’ll remain respectful towards UFC
veterans, the Liverpool native recently vowed to “terrorize”
Topuria or Tsarukyan should he get matched up against either
one.
Paddy Pimblett explains why Ilia Topuria and Arman Tsarukyan
get a different kind of trash talk
Pimblett has nothing but respect for the likes of Charles
Oliveira and Max
Holloway. “The Baddy” claims his venomous trash talk is only
directed at those he genuinely dislikes.
“If I fight Ilia or Arman, I’m gonna absolutely rinse their lives.
I’m gonna absolutely terrorize them,” Pimblett said. “But if I
fight Max Holloway or Charles Oliveira, I wouldn’t, because I
respect them and I like them.”
Pimblett has previously praised Topuria’s skills, but the two have
developed a bitter rivalry outside the Octagon. Tsarukyan,
meanwhile, has drawn considerably less respect from the former
Cage Warriors champ.
“Don’t get me wrong, I respect Ilia, but we’ve had beef for years,”
Pimblett added. “I think he’s a little helmet. I’d love to fight
him and give him shit. Arman Tsarukyan, I’ve got no respect for at
all. He’s just a rich kid whose daddy’s a millionaire.”
Pimblett returned to the win column in July with a quick submission
victory over Benoit St.
Denis at
UFC 329. Meanwhile, Tsarukyan is scheduled to face Mauricio
Ruffy in the UFC
331 co-main event on Sept. 19. Topuria has yet to book his next
outing following his loss to Justin
Gaethje at
UFC Freedom 250, which marked the first defeat of his
career.
