The lineup is taking shape for the
Ultimate Fighting Championship’s upcoming event in
Nashville.
The Las Vegas-based promotion officially confirmed a handful of
bouts for the July 12 event in a release on Tuesday. UFC
Nashville — also known as UFC on ESPN 70 — takes place at
Bridgestone Arena and is headlined by a previously reported
heavyweight clash pitting Derrick
Lewis against Tallison
Teixeira. In the co-main event, Steve
Garcia will face Calvin
Kattar at featherweight.

UFC Nashville will air in its entirety on ESPN and ESPN+. The
prelims begin at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT before shifting to the main
card at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
