The lineups for Rizin Fighting Federation’s upcoming cards on April
16 and April 17 continue to grow, as the Japanese promotion
recently announced a slew of bouts for both events.
“Starting [in] April, we hope to bring in more international
fighters to boost the roster,” Rizin CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara said.
“Still many restrictions but slowly [we] want to add more
international fighters.”
The following bouts were confirmed for Rizin
35 on April 17: Kanna
Asakura vs. Satomi
Takano at super atomweight; Koji Takeda
vs. Spike
Carlyle at lightweight; Tsuyoshi
Kosaka vs. Mikio Ueda
at heavyweight; Takahiro
Ashida vs. Kyle Aguon at
featherweight; Vugar
Karamov vs. Taichi
Nakajima at featherweight and Shoma
Shibisai vs. Rihards
Bigis at heavyweight and Yuki Motoya
vs. Alan
Yamaniha at bantamweight.
Rizin 35 takes place at Musashino Forest Sport Plaza in Tokyo,
Japan and is topped by a trio of title fights: Roberto de
Souza vs. Johnny Case
at lightweight; Juntaro
Ushiku vs. Yutaka
Saito at featherweight and Ayaka
Hamasaki vs. Seika Izawa
at super atomweight.
Meanwhile, four other contests were revealed for Rizin
Trigger 3rd on April 16: Hideki
Sekine vs. Satoshi
Kamiyama at super heavyweight; Tatsuya
Saika vs. Kimihiro
Eto at lightweight; Takaki Soya
vs. Nobuyoshi
Nakatsukasa at flyweight and Shuto

at bantamweight.
Rizin Trigger 3rd also takes place at Musashino Forest Sport Plaza
in Tokyo, Japan, and features a lightweight showdown pitting

Gustavo Felix dos Santos against Yusuke
Yachi.
