The lineup is official for
Professional Fighters League’s upcoming middleweight
tournament.
The bracket features 2023 PFL light heavyweight champion Impa
Kasaganay, who is coming off a first-round knockout loss to
Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov in the 205-pound finals this past
November. Kasangany last competed at 185 pounds in February 2024,
when he dropped a split decision to former Bellator champ Johnny
Eblen.
The 185-pound roster also includes Fabian
Edwards, a two-time title challenger under the Bellator
MMA banner and Joshua
Silveira, who lost to Kasanganay in the PFL light heavyweight
final in 2023. Additionally, ex-PFL welterweight champ Sadibou Sy
will be part of the field at middleweight.
The 2025 PFL World Tournament will begin with events on April 3,
April 11, April 18 and May 1 at the backlot of Universal Studios
Florida in Orlando. The winner of each bracket will receive a
$500,000 bonus, and the tournament as a whole will provide payouts
of more than $20 million. Events will be broadcast on the family of
ESPN platforms in the United States.
Tournament matchups will be announced on March 11 as part of a
special bracket reveal show.
