Even at 48 years old, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira still has more than enough skill to win with ease on the influencer boxing circuit.

At Fight Music Show 6 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Saturday, the former UFC and Pride Fighting Championships competitor squared off against a Brazilian bodybuilder and social media personality named Fabio Tadalafellas. Nogueira, a bronze medalist in boxing in the 2007 Pan-American Games, made short work of his opponent, knocking Tadalafellas out cold with a left hand in the second round of their bout.

“Minotouro” hasn’t fought in MMA since July 2020, when he dropped a split decision to Mauricio Rua in his final Octagon appearance at UFC on ESPN 14. He more recently competed at Fight Music Show 1 in January 2022, winning…

Topuria on potential fight against Makhachev: "He said he wouldn't vacate his title and I said he ruled the division and who has gotten away with it? Me. After this fight, when I have the belt, he might get in line, which is a long one, so more than one's eyes will be shining" pic.twitter.com/rppCH3UdjZ

— Álvaro Colmenero (@KOlmeneroMMA) May 18, 2025

If things don’t work out for Islam Makhachev in his venture to welterweight, he won’t have an immediate title shot waiting for him in the lightweight division.

At least, that’s how it will be if Ilia Topuria has a say in the championship pecking order. “El Matador” will face Charles Oliveira for the vacant 155-pound strap at UFC 317 on June 28. Makhachev vacated the belt to pursue a title shot against Jack Della Maddalena at 170 pounds. A date for that fight has not yet been confirmed.

“You know from the beginning, he wanted to give the impression that he had some sort of d…

Michael Morales Details Main Event Nerves, Desire to Fight at Noche UFC

Michael Morales wasn’t immune to butterflies in his first Ultimate Fighting Championship main event.

“Sure man, I was s—ting my pants," Morales said through a translator at Saturday’s post-fight press conference. "They don't call him 'Durinho' for nothing. Whoever has to be in the cage with that guy, they would feel the nerves. He’s a guy who has fought for a title, the people that he has fought throughout his career. It was important for me to prove to him that the tough guy tonight was me.”

Those nerves didn’t affect Morales’ performance in the UFC Vegas 106 headliner, as he had former title challenger Gilbert Burns on the retreat from the outset. A series of left and right hands dropped Burns twice near the fence and ultimately forced referee Herb Dean to step in on the Brazilian’s behalf at the 3:39 mark in Round 1.

According to Morales, a high-pressure attack was all part of the plan.

“We talked about this in camp, it was actually a big…

Unbeaten Michael Morales Thrashes Gilbert Burns in UFC Vegas 106 Headliner

Michael Morales undoubtedly has everyone’s attention now.

Morales (18-0, 6-0 UFC) closed the show and took a figurative bow 3:39 into Round 1.

Burns (22-9, 15-9 UFC) had no answers for the Ecuadorian brute. UFC Vegas 106 ‘Burns vs. Morales’ Play-by-Play, Results & Round Scoring

Sherdog's live UFC Vegas 106 coverage will begin Saturday at 4 p.m. ET. The event is also known as UFC Fight Night 256. BETTING PREVIEW | SCOUTING REPORT | ODDS: Pennington (-455), Pinheiro (+350)Round 1 After posting up in a few arenas around North America, it was time for the UFC to hibernate back in the Apex for a card that will likely see pink slips fly in preparation for the upcoming season of Dana White’s Contender Series. Nine athletes across this 12-fight lineup hold UFC records of .500 or lower—although a couple are due to UFC debutants—with just four fighters ranked by the promotion on the billing. Interestingly enough, those with numbers next to their name come in the main event and this curtain jerker. Two ladies in the top 15 of the strawweight division kick things off today, as Pennington (14-7, 10-7 UFC) looks to put a win streak together for the first time in years at the expense of skidding Brazilian Pinheiro (11-4, 3-3 UFC). UFC Vegas 106 Prelims: Resilient Jared Gordon Blows Away Thiago Moises

Jared Gordon took the judges out of the equation.

The 36-year-old Kill Cliff Fight Club veteran rebounded from a contentious June 22 decision defeat to Nasrat Haqparast and righted himself in the Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight division, as he dispatched Thiago Moises with punches in the first round of their featured UFC Fight Night 256 prelim on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Gordon (21-7, 9-6 UFC) drew the curtain 3:37 into Round 1.

Moises (19-9, 8-7 UFC) never established a stable foothold. Gordon caught the American Top Team mainstay off-guard with takedown inside the first 20 seconds, ate some elbows from the bottom and made the Brazilian work to get back to his feet. Once there, the two men separated and reset. Gordon decked the onetime Resurrection Fighting Alliance champion with a counter right hook, chased him to the canvas and closed it out with unanswered punches.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Green returned from a two-year abs…
