The promotion recently announced the bouts. Bellator Champions
Series London takes place OVO Wembley in London and is headlined by
a middleweight title rematch between Johnny
Eblen and Fabian
Edwards. The event will air in its entirety on Max. McCourt vs.
Collins is slated to be the evening’s co-main event.
McCourt has been victorious in seven of her nine Bellator
appearances. Most recently, the Northern Ireland native defeated
former
UFC title challenger Sara McMann
via first-round TKO at Bellator 300 this past October.
Collins is undefeated in five professional outings, including
triumphs over Sinead
Kavanagh and Pam
Sorenson under the Bellator banner. Collins was scheduled to
meet Olena
Kolesnyk at Bellator Dublin on June 22 before her opponent
withdrew from the bout due to injury.
Diakiese will make his Bellator debut on the heels of an 8-7 stint
in the UFC. In his last outing, “Bonecrusher” snapped a two-fight
skid with a split-decision triumph over Kaue
Fernandes at UFC Fight Night 231 on Nov. 4.
England’s Wilde saw a six-bout unbeaten streak come to an end at
Bellator Belfast in March, when he suffered a first-round KO defeat
at the hands of Manoel
Sousa.
