Most Valuable Promotions has taken its biggest step yet toward
reshaping the combat sports landscape.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer addressed the landmark merger between MVP
and the
Professional Fighters League in a press release announcing the
deal. The union will operate under the MVP banner, with Paul and
Nakisa Bidarian serving as co-founders and board members, while
former PFL CEO John Martin will oversee day-to-day operations as
chief executive officer.

For Paul, the merger is the culmination of a vision that began with
creating more opportunities for fighters than the traditional
promotional model has offered.
“We started MVP to disrupt a broken model,” Paul said. “We wanted
to give fighters fair pay and a bigger, modernized stage to become
global superstars. Joining forces with PFL accelerates that vision
by a decade. We now have a scaled platform to give today’s fans
what they want: elite talent mixed with culture, lifestyle, and
massive social velocity.”
The 29-year-old emphasized that the promotion’s ambitions extend
beyond individual fighters.
“MVP was always bigger than me and bigger than any one fighter,” he
said. “MVP is an inevitable movement that needs to happen for the
athletes, and now we have all the resources we need to build
something that changes this sport forever.”
The combined promotion has pledged to operate under a fighter-first
philosophy, saying it intends to provide more equitable
compensation for fighters. Paul argued that advances in artificial
intelligence will increase demand for live sporting events and make
premium combat sports properties even more valuable.
“I have more conviction in MVP than ever, driven by the
proliferation of AI, which will only increase the value of real,
live experiences and the sports properties that can bring fans
closer to the athletes they love,” Paul said.
Paul added that he intends to continue competing while also serving
as a promoter as the newly merged company prepares to stage five
events in August.
