genre called “influencer boxing.” Paul is now set to make his ninth
walk to the ring on Dec. 15 on a DAZN pay-per-view card. The venue
for the event and Paul’s opponent are yet to be announced. “The
Problem Child” is expected to reveal his opponent’s name after
Amanda
Serrano’s unified title defense against Danila Ramos in
Orlando, Florida, on Oct. 27.

Paul also expressed world champion aspirations in a press
release.
“Eight fights in the boxing game and I’m already its biggest name,”
Paul said. “I’ve proved that I can headline the biggest global
events and defy the odds. PPV after PPV after PPV, and I’m just
getting started. My mission is to be a world champion and I’m
willing to do whatever it takes to get there. December 15th is the
next step on my journey, and I promise you’re not going to want to
miss it.”
Paul is coming off a unanimous decision win over former UFC
superstar Nate Diaz in
August that saw him bounce back from his lone professional loss
against Tommy Fury in February. Prior to that, the 26-year-old
defeated former UFC champs Tyron
Woodley, Anderson
Silva and multi-promotion MMA champ Ben
Askren.
