to Dagestani grappling and frequently helps fellow Australian and
Kiwi UFC fighters in their training camps.

Meanwhile, Danis initially rose to fame as the primary grappling
partner of Conor
McGregor
, ‘El Jefe” was a part of the infamous UFC 229 brawl
involving McGregor and Khabib
Nurmagomedov
’s teams. Danis has since gained notoriety for
stirring up trouble at combat sports events. Danis has competed
only twice in non-exhibition MMA, winning both bouts by submission
under the Bellator banner in 2018-19. Danis fought Logan Paul

brawl broke out as“‘El Jefe” caught Paul in a headlock. Danis
recently won the Misfits MMA light heavyweight title with a
submission win over Warren
Spencer
last year in a bout that was classified as an
exhibition, according to the Sherdog.com database.
