Vail, Colorado, on Friday night.

The fight was competitive right up until the finish. Talundzic
managed to keep the fight close with his cage control and grappling
pressure. Round 3 also saw the Bosnian control Frunza on the side
of the cage for a considerable amount of time before being
separated by the referee due to inaction.

With barely a few seconds left in the final round, Frunza managed
to land a thudding right elbow on Talundzic that left him wobbled.
From there, the Romanian unleashed a barrage of punches on his
fallen foe to finish the fight at the 4:59 mark of Round 3.

In another welterweight offering in the co-headliner, Myktybek
Orolbai
(9-1) recorded a devastating knockout victory against
Texas native Hayward
Charles
(18-15). Orolbai seemed to be outworking Charles in all
facets of the game before finally landing a devastating uppercut
that sent his adversary crashing face-first into the canvas 41
seconds into the second frame.

Meanwhile, Isaac
Thomson
(6-1) put a stop to A.J. Robb’s
(6-3) five-fight winning streak with a unanimous decision victory.
This marked the Australian featherweight’s third victory in the
promotion.

Elsewhere on the card in a featherweight matchup, Caio
Machado
(17-8) secured a rear-naked choke 3:02 into the final
round of his outing against Ilyor
Bakhtiyar Uulu
(6-2).

In the only women’s bout on the main card, flyweight Shannon
Clark
extended her undefeated record to 4-0 with a unanimous
decision win against Bosnia’s Nejra Repp
(2-1).

In the main card opener, Jordan
Burkholder
(5-1) recorded a rear-naked choke against Daniel
Gonzales
(3-3) at the 3:51 mark of Round 2 of their flyweight
meeting.

In preliminary action, Carlos
Rivera
(2-0) notched his second professional mixed martial arts
win against Hondo
Gutierrez
(1-1) via guillotine choke 1:57 into Round 2 of their
catchweight meeting.

Earlier, in a bout that saw both men make their professional MMA
debuts, Chaz Polson
(1-0) managed to secure a rear-naked choke victory against Austin
Waterman
(0-1) at the 3:52 mark of Round 2.

In the first professional MMA bout of the evening, Keynan
Davis
(1-0) put away Walter
Saragosa
(0-2) just 43 seconds into the very first round of
their meeting via technical knockout.
