Covington is willing to settle the bad blood with Bo Nickal
inside the Octagon.
Nickal has been calling out Covington for over a year, either for a
UFC fight or a wrestling match at RAF. Covington recently
accepted the callout while going on a rant about Nickal. “Chaos”
slammed Nickal for pulling out of a RAF 5 booking against Yoel Romero
after Romero missed weight. Considering Nickal is particular about
weight classes, Covington wants the middleweight wrestler to drop
to welterweight to fight him.

“I know you’re a big fan of weight classes and refused to fight a
man that was six pounds too heavy… I propose we do this in a weight
class where one of us is ranked and has actual stakes,” Covington
said on YouTube. “So how about bring that stupid ginger
bowl cut down to 170, and I’ll grant your wish to fight the biggest
name in the welterweight division.”
Despite being an avid supporter of Donald Trump, Covington is not a
part of the
UFC White House card. Meanwhile, Nickal will take on Kyle
Daukaus at the White House on June 14. Covington says Daukaus
has earned his spot on the card with hard work, unlike Nickal.
“Chaos” predicts that Daukaus will make Nickal quit as Reinier
de Ridder did.
‚You’re a Spoiled Brat‘
“But let’s make one thing crystal clear. I’m not gonna take away an
opportunity from someone who, unlike you, has done things the hard
way to earn a spot on a big card like Kyle
Daukaus,” Covington said. “He’s 10 times the man and fighter
you ever could be. You’re just a competitor, bozo, you’re not a
fighter. You’ve had everything fed to you on a silver spoon. Nobody
likes you because you’re a spoiled brat. And nobody respects you
because you’re a quitter. We all watched the real bozo come out on
a stool against the Dutch grappler. Daukaus will bring the same
quitter out of you on the White House lawn. I don’t need to fight
you. You need to fight me because I violated you via truth bombs
right to your face at the RAF press conference.”
Nickal (8-1) suffered his lone professional loss against De Ridder
last year. The former three-time NCAA Division 1 champion has since
rebounded with a stoppage win over Rodolfo
Vieira. Meanwhile, Covington (17-5) hasn’t fought in the UFC
since a stoppage loss against Joaquin
Buckley in December 2024.
