Jorge Masvidal’s retirement from combat sports didn’t last long.

The former UFC welterweight contender announced that he is “unretired” on social media Monday night. Masvidal offered no further details beyond that brief statement.Unretired

“No names right now,” Masvidal told ESPN this past October, “But I can tell you it’s early next year, and I can tell you somebody is going to get killed.”
Masvidal last fought in MMA at UFC 287, where he dropped a unanimous verdict to Gilbert Burns in April 2023. It was the fourth consecutive loss for the American Top Team standout, who rose to superstardom in 2019 after successive finishes of Darren Till, Ben Askren and Nate Diaz. He officially anno…
