Troubled former mixed martial artist Jason Miller
was arrested in California after being charged with multiple
felonies, according to a report from
Fox 11 Los Angeles
.

The former UFC talent known as “Mayhem” pleaded not guilty to
felony counts of first-degree burglary, unlawful taking of a
vehicle and grand theft auto in court on Tuesday. The 39-year-old
will be held without bail until a pretrial hearing on Sept. 2.
According to Irvine Police Sgt. Karie Davies, Miller knew his
victim, who was not identified in the report.

Miller, who was initially arrested at 6:24 p.m. local time this
past Friday, was already on probation after pleading guilty to
felony vandalism for smashing a large marble table, punching holes
in and removing doors and derailing the garage door at his
girlfriend’s residence.

Miller has had several altercations with law enforcement in recent
years, including a 2014 incident in which he barricaded himself
inside his house when police arrived to serve an arrest warrant for
an alleged stalking. He was taken into custody after a live
tweeting a SWAT standoff.

The following year, Miller was arrested for kicking and spitting at
police officers after an incident at a restaurant in Laguna Beach,
Calif. And in 2016, the 36-year-old fighter was arrested for
spitting on a police officer following an argument with two females
at a restaurant in Costa Mesa, Calif. In February 2018, a jury
acquitted Miller of domestic violence charges stemming from an
alleged assault of his ex-girlfriend at his Mission Viejo home in
2013.

In October 2018, Miller was
arrested on a felony vandalism charge
that left him in
violation of his parole. In April 2018, the former “Bully Beatdown”
host accepted a four-year suspended sentence for multiple domestic
violence charges; that deal also included three years’ probation
for domestic violence incidents with three different women.

Last year, Miller released a
statement
on his Facebook page that seemed to signal a positive
turn, as he admitted that “I wasn’t in the right state of mind for
a very long time” while adding that he was “confident of my sanity
and sobriety.”

After a four-year hiatus from the sport, Miller made his MMA return
at a Venator Fighting Championship event on May 21, 2016. After
missing weight by 24 pounds, “Mayhem” was submitted in the second
round by Mattia
Schiavolin
. The UFC, Strikeforce and Dream veteran owns a 23-10
career record that includes victories over the likes of Tim Kennedy,
Robbie
Lawler
and Denis Kang.
