„Money Moicano“ returns to the Octagon this weekend on a 12-fight
card, now official after the
UFC Vegas 123 weigh-ins.
In the five-round main event, Renato
Carneiro will face rising star Tom Nolan.
Both lightweights had no issue making weight. All other fighters on
the card successfully made weight with the exception of Francis
Marshall, who came in two pounds heavy for his featherweight
fight against Dakota
Hope. Marshall will be fined a percentage of his purse as a
result.

Carneiro (21-7-1) is coming off a dominant submission win over
Chris
Duncan. This was the Brazilian’s first victory since 2024. Now
37, the veteran is looking to prove he’s still a contender and not
just a gatekeeper to the elite. „Moicano“ stepped on the scale
weighing 156 pounds on the dot.
Nolan (11-1) is looking to defeat the UFC mainstay and start taking
on big names in the division. „Big Train“ has rattled off five
straight wins after losing his first fight in early 2024. The
Australian’s biggest victory to date came against Fares Ziam,
whom he defeated by unanimous decision earlier this year. The
26-year-old weighed 155.5 pounds for his first UFC main event.
UFC Vegas 123 will stream in its entirety on Paramount+. Prelims
begin at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT, while the main card kicks off at 8
p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
