Delgado (12-2) on Sept. 12 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale,
Arizona. Delgado stepped in for Yair
Rodriguez, who withdrew due to injury, and is a massive
underdog against Silva. “Lord” doesn’t foresee the bout lasting
more than two rounds.

Jean Silva doesn’t expect Jose Delgado fight to go beyond two
rounds

Silva claims he’s the one representing Mexico in the UFC’s upcoming
annual celebration of Mexican Independence Day. The Brazilian added
that he wants to put on a show for fans and hopes for at least 10
minutes of action.

“He’s not from Mexico,” Silva said in a recent interview. “I am
gonna represent Mexico on Saturday. I hope we can at least do at
least two rounds. Let’s see.”

Silva is 6-1 in the UFC and coming off a win over Arnold
Allen, while Delgado is on a two-fight win streak comprising
victories over Andre Fili
and Austin
Bashi. Delgado is 4-1 in the UFC since earning a contract on

Dana White’s Contender Series, with his lone Octagon defeat
coming in a narrow decision loss to Nathaniel
Wood.
