A new
Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s flyweight queen will be
crowned at the forthcoming UFC
332 event.

During the broadcast of this year’s UFC Paris event, the
Nevada-based promotion announced that Valentina
Shevchenko would vacate her women’s 125-pound title due to
injury. Natalia
Silva and Cong Wang
will collide in the UFC 332 headliner with the undisputed
championship on the line. Shevchenko last fought in November, when
she defended the title and denied former 115-pound champ Weili
Zhang’s attempt to become a two-division titleholder. “Bullet”
was supposed to make her Octagon return against Silva at UFC 332
before an undisclosed injury forced her out of the fight.

Silva earned a shot at the divisional championship after
outpointing former 115-pound queen Rose
Namajunas at UFC 324. A former Jungle Fight champion, Silva has
scored eight straight victories since making her UFC debut in 2022,
including victories over former champion Jessica
Andrade and Alexa
Grasso. Wang is currently riding a four-bout winning streak,
with victories over Bruna
Brasil, Ariane
Lipski da Silva, Eduarda
Moura and Tracy
Cortez.

UFC 332 will go down at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In the co-main event, former 125-pound champion Deiveson
Figueiredo will lock horns with up-and-comer Payton
Talbott in an intriguing 135-pound tilt. Former Konfrontacja
Sztuk Walki 170-pound titleholder Roberto
Soldic will make his Octagon debut against Kalinn „Khaos“ Williams. The main card also sees King Green
vs. Esteban
Ribovics at lightweight and Ateba
Abega Gautier vs. Roman
Kopylov at middleweight.
