President Donald Trump’s son allegedly asked Daniel
Cormier about potentially “rigged” fights at the White
House.
Cormier is on commentary duty for
UFC Freedom 250 on Sunday at the White House. “DC” posted
now-deleted screenshots of an alleged chat with President Trump’s
eldest son, Eric Trump.

Eric initially asked Cormier for any fight predictions and if he
was betting. Cormier told Eric that, as an employee, he is not
allowed to bet on
UFC fights. Eric then asked Cormier if any of the fighters on
the card were injured. Cormier said the fighters were all in good
shape while expressing confusion about Eric’s question. Eric then
cut to the chase and directly asked Cormier about any potentially
rigged fights.
“I’ll just cut to the chase,” Eric allegedly wrote. “Are any of the
fights tomorrow rigged? I’ve been eyeing the Lopes fight and I
think an upset wouldn’t be too unrealistic. $$”
Cormier responded: “No none of our fights rigged and honestly I am
appalled that you would even ask me something like that.”
Cormier also wrote in the caption to his post: “I’m probably going
to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light, however I refuse
to stay silent. The UFC is a sport that I am deeply passionate
about I will not tolerate this type of insider behavior. Shame on
anyone trying to ruin this beautiful event.”
Full Denial
Eric has shut down the posts as fake, claiming to have never
contacted Cormier.
“This is completely fake! I have never reached out to Daniel. In
fact, this is scary,” he wrote.
“We are aware of the fake, AI generated screenshots being
circulated online. I have never spoken to Daniel. He has since
deleted his post, which confirms it was clearly fabricated.”
