the reins as referee. Away they go. Eblen greets him with a leg
kick. Battle answers with a left hook. Eblen drives into a takedown
and backs it up with immediate ground-and-pound. Battle gets to his
feet, only to be slammed violently to the canvas. The scene repeats
itself seconds later. Battle cannot take too many of those. Another
slam from Eblen. Battle gets to his feet and gets slammed on his
head for his troubles. Eblen in rinse-and-repeat mode here. Battle
cannot shake free. Eblen drags him to one knee and smashes him with
an elbow.
Eblen maneuvers onto the back, cinches a body triangle, weaves his
arms into place and bites down on a face crank. Battle taps.
Utterly dominant and a clear early candidate for “Beatdown of the
Year.”
