Mario
Bautista was denied a post-fight interview after dominating
Patrick
Mix at UFC
316.

Mix made his promotional debut against Bautista at UFC 316 on
Saturday in Newark, New Jersey. A sizeable favorite going into the
fight, Mix vowed to dominate the “journeyman” Bautista. However,
the former Bellator bantamweight champ was thoroughly outclassed by
Bautista throughout three rounds.
But Bautista was not granted a post-fight Octagon interview, even
though some preliminary fighters had that privilege. Fans expressed
their displeasure with Bautista being denied an interview. Some
conjectured that the
UFC was unhappy with Bautista for spoiling a hyped prospect’s
debut. While some fans were unhappy with Bautista’s controversial
split-decision win over Jose Aldo in
his last fight, they still thought he deserved an interview after
his performance at UFC 316.
So they give random prelim fighters
interviews after a decision but not to Mario
Bautista after beating ,,the most hyped debut,, guy patchy mix?
Wtf.

No interview for Mario
Bautista on the PPV after that performance is crazy.
Guess he ruined UFC plans and DC’s parlay.— MagicM (@MagicM_MMABets)

Does the UFC have some type of vendetta
against Mario
Bautista? He goes out there and dominates Patchy Mix and doesn’t get a
post-fight interview inside octagon

Listen the Aldo fight was shameless but
Mario
Bautista just had a great performance against the Bantamweight
champion of another organisation why didn’t he get a post fight
interview?

Bautista is now riding an eight-fight winning streak and steadily
rising the bantamweight ladder. Meanwhile, Mix will have to go back
to the drawing board to deal with an entirely different level of
competition in a new promotion.
