Costa was victorious at UFC
Vegas 106, but he did not emerge from his fight against
Julian
Erosa unscathed.
UFC CEO Dana White took to social media to share several images of
Costa’s gruesome toe injury suffered at the event, a significant
gash which required stitches to repair. However, that wound did not
prevent Costa from earning a unanimous decision triumph against
Erosa in a bout that received “Fight of the Night” honors.

The 28-year-old Brazilian has been one of the promotion’s most
active fighters in 2025, with triumphs over Andre Fili,
Christian
Rodriguez and Eroa since February. Costa has won four straight
UFC appearances overall.
