Round 1

Dan Movahedi is the third man in the cage. McLaughlin opens with a
low kick. Wedi answers back with one of his own. Shins collide in
the center of the cage. McLaughlin throws out a front kick and then
lands another calf kick. Both men are feeling each other out and
aren’t ready to throw hands. McLaughlin is outlanding his opponent
with kicks on the outside. Wedi lands a quick jab but can’t follow
up. A nice right straight for McLaughlin. Wedi sends a hard leg
kick to the calf of McLaughlin. The Irish fighter lands a body kick
and follows up with a leg kick. Both men are composed with two
minutes left in the first frame. Wedi eats more leg kicks, but his
movement isn’t impacted. McLaughlin pushes Wedi against the cage
with 40 seconds left. Wedi sneaks in a nice knee and then is able
to break away. The round ends with Wedi trying to get a takedown,
but he’s reversed.

Round 2

McLaughlin throws a right hand over the top that misses the mark.
The Irish fighter is a bit more active to start the round.
McLaughlin fires some wild punches that don’t connect, but allow
him to put Wedi against the cage. Wedi gets underhooks and is able
to break away. More leg kicks land for McLaughlin. A left hook
misses for Wedi. McLaughlin lands an elbow after exiting a clinch.
McLaughlin follows up a leg kick with a right hand and is putting
his striking game together. A head kick connects for McLaughlin,
who clinches against the cage. Wedi is able to reverse position and
then regain distance. A right hand lands for McLaughlin, which
stuns Wedi. McLaughlin gets a body lock and secures a takedown with
under two minutes left. McLaughlin handles Wedi and is looking to
take the back. Wedi stands up, while McLaughlin looks for a
rear-naked choke, but he doesn’t have it. Wedi is back on his feet
and lands knees while clinched. Time is called for a low blow after
a knee hits the groin of McLaughlin. The fight is restarted with a
minute left. McLaughlin misses an overhand right and follows up
with a leg kick. Punches miss their mark for the Irish fighter yet
again. Wedi lands a body kick, and McLaughlin falls to the ground
after missing a high kick. McLaughlin gets up, and the round ends
with him firing punches that don’t connect.

Round 3

Wedi throws a nice 1-2. McLaughlin forces Wedi to the cage but eats
a knee while doing so. Wedi lands a slick step-in elbow. McLaughlin
is cut above his eye now. Wedi has found his confidence and keeps
hitting elbows in close. McLaughlin goes for a double-leg takedown
and gets Wedi to the ground. Wedi is able to get back to his feet.
McLaughlin lands some knees before eating two elbows. McLaughlin
answers with a spinning back elbow! A nice jab to the body for the
Irish fighter. Both men are looking tired with half a round left.
Wedi defends a takedown against the cage and throws some sharp
elbows down. Wedi is in control as McLaughlin tries to brawl while
running into elbows. McLaughlin gets a takedown by throwing Wedi to
the ground and is looking for back control. McLaughlin is landing
some solid ground and pound. Big elbows from McLaughlin, who is
getting revenge for the first half of the round. Wedi is eating
damage and is stuck. Most of the elbows from McLaughlin are hitting
the arm of Wedi now and not doing any damage. McLaughlin looks for
a rear-naked choke, but he doesn’t have it. The fight ends with
Wedi getting back to his feet.

Round 1

Derek Hickey is the referee. Luxton is mixing up her strikes well
by punching to the body and throwing kicks. Auld is on the
defensive and is walking into jabs. A nice body kick from Luxton
sends Auld backwards. Luxton looks like a different class of
striker and lands a nice 1-2. Auld’s nose is red from eating all
these shots. Nice body shots by Luxton. Auld grabs Luxton and runs
her into the cage. Auld is looking for a trip takedown. Auld is
still trying to get a takedown but is struggling. Luxton sneaks in
a nice elbow while defending. Auld finally pulls Luxton down, but
she can’t keep her foe on the floor. Luxton is defending well but
isn’t getting out of the clinch. This round has slowed to a crawl.
Auld pulls out the legs, but once again, Luxton gets back up.
Another failed takedown attempt by Auld as the round finishes.

Round 2

Luxton picks up where she left off on the feet as she’s throwing
combinations that land on Auld’s face and body. Auld eats a left
hook, and her face is bruised and bloodied. 90 seconds into the
round, Auld is able to grab Luxton and force her to the cage again.
Auld forces her down, but Luxton is back up to her feet just
seconds later. Auld delivers a slam and now has Luxton’s back, her
first true takedown. Auld has full mount! Auld is delivering brutal
elbows to the head. Luxton gives up her neck, and
Auld locks in a rear-naked choke. She gets the tap.
A
submission win for Auld, who fought through a real beating on the
feet.

Round 1

The ref is Paul Crossley for this bout. Edwards comes out looking
to striker and throws a hard combination that barely comes up
short. Edwards is throwing wildly and gets clipped by Sheridan’s
check left hook! He’s down. Sheridan is landing hard ground and
pound as Edwards desperately looks for a takedown and to get back
to his feet. Sheridan is doing massive damage. Edwards gets back to
his feet, but Sheridan gets him to the ground and is looking to
secure the position. The two men separate.
Sheridan lands a beautiful overhand right and then a left hook that
puts Edwards away!
A one-sided mauling after Sheridan
hurt him early.

Round 1

Dan Movahedi is in the cage. A big right hand for Pacella lands.
Hughes fires back with a check hook. Both men are throwing early.
Hughes walks into a right hook but doesn’t buckle. Nice left hook
by Hughes, but he gets hit with a combination from Pacella. Hughes
and Pacella have a brief clash of heads as they clinch. They
separate. Hughes goes for a single-leg takedown. Pacella defends
well and lands several body punches as they separate. Hughes
clinches against the cage again as the round hits its halfway mark.
Nice knee to the body by Pacella, who then sneaks in an elbow.
Hughes is bleeding from his left eye. Pacella regains distance, and
there’s a groin shot by Hughes. There’s a minute left in the round
after it restarts. Hughes eats a combination of punches. Pacella is
finding success with his jab, although he’s not throwing it often.
The frame ends with Pacella landing another combination.

Round 2

Hughes lands an overhand right to start Round 2. Pacella begins a
bit more tepid but then unleashes hooks to the body. Hughes
clinches against the cage and lands a knee to the body. Pacella
reverses position but eats uppercuts from Hughes. They separate but
wind up back in the same situation shortly afterward. Nice straight
from Hughes as they separate. Pacella then backs up Hughes into the
cage. It’s a stalemate as neither man can get a grappling
advantage. Pacella throws wildly to minimal success as he separates
briefly before getting back into the clinch. A big right hand lands
for Pacella as they separate, but he then throws wildly and allows
Hughes to clinch him against the cage. Pacella sneaks in some solid
elbows. Hughes ends the round failing to get a takedown.

Round 3

The final round opens with both men throwing combinations but only
hitting their opponents‘ arms. Hughes goes for a takedown and winds
up with Pacella pinned against the clinch. Pacella reverses
position. Hughes briefly goes for a guillotine that had no chance
of succeeding before settling back into the clinch. Hughes stomps
the foot of Pacella. A knee to the body lands for Pacella. Hughes
unsuccessfully goes for a takedown. They break away, and both men
throw punches wildly before ending back up in the clinch 10 seconds
later. They go back to the center of the cage. Hughes lands a
lunging right hand. Pacella throws a series of hooks that all miss.
Hughes throws a spinning back fist that misses. They clinch as
Hughes looks for another takedown. Pacella defends well, and the
ref warns both men for stalling with 30 seconds left, which is very
funny after over a round and a half of this. The fight ends with
both men in the clinch.

Round 1

Paul Crossley will oversee the fight. Both men open with leg kicks.
McCormac eats a stiff jab. Khan doesn’t like the leg kicks. Khan
ducks under a punch and gets a takedown. McCormac is defending well
in half guard. During a scramble, McCormac gets back to his feet.
The two men are clinched against the cage. They separate, and
McCormac gets Khan’s neck after he slips. McCormac lands some solid
knees to the head. Khan is able to get a takedown and is eating
elbows from McCormac, who is being offensive off his back. The
round ends with Khan stacking McCormac.

Round 2

Khan lands a nice straight right hand and is able to level change
for a takedown. McCormac is looking for a guillotine, but he
doesn’t have a good position for it as he is in half guard. Khan
gets out and is controlling the fight, although he’s struggling to
do much damage. Khan gets the back of McCormac. Khan loses the back
but gets back to half guard and keeps his opponent down. Nice
elbows by Khan. Not a very exciting frame of action. Khan is unable
to get to side control. The referee warns both men. Khan lifts
McCormac up and then dumps him to the ground. 30 seconds left.
McCormac looks for a guillotine, but leverage is not in his favor.
Khan gets out and lands some hammerfists. The round ends with Khan
on top.

Round 3

The final round begins with both men being hesitant. Nice left hook
to the body and a calf kick from Khan. McCormac clearly doesn’t
want to get taken down again. Nice leg kick by McCormac. Khan gets
hit by a low blow, and it is paused before being restarted. Khan
goes for a double-leg takedown, but McCormac is defending well.
Khan is able to build around the back of McCormac over time and is
able to put his opponent on the ground with a slam. Khan is in half
guard. McCormac looks for a kimura to no avail. Little action with
a minute left. Khan is just going to ride out a decision win.
McCormac gives up his back and then mount position, eating a series
of punches before the fight ends.

Dan Movahedi is the referee. Van Steenis is landing solid leg
kicks. The leg of McAleenan is already red. McAleenan lands a nice
counter as van Steenis walks forward. Van Steenis blitzes forward
and clips McAleenan with a right hand. McAleenan is taken down, and
van Steenis gets into half guard. Van Steenis isn’t advancing
position but is landing punches. Van Steenis is warned by the
referee despite other fights having far more stalling. McAleenan
isn’t doing anything to get up and is unable to secure full guard.
One minute left. Van Steenis unloads, which allows McAleenan to get
full guard finally. Some good ground and pound from van Steenis.
The round ends with van Steenis in full control.

Round 2

McAleenan lands a nice right hand to start and then eats a kick.
McAleenan charges in to land a punch, but this allows van Steenis
to begin clinching. Van Steenis lands a right hook and then pushes
McAleenan against the fence. McAleenan is defending well despite
van Steenis having a leg. McAleenan gets out and then lands a nice
elbow to the face. McAleenan hurts van Steenis with an overhand
right. Van Steenis falls down after a delayed response. McAleenan
is stuck in guard and isn’t able to fully capitalize. Short elbows
are keeping van Steenis from recovering. McAleenan postures up and
is landing hard punches. One minute left. McAleenan passes to side
control, but van Steenis is able to reverse during the scramble.

Round 3

McAleenan rushes forward and is caught by van Steenis with a hook.
Van Steenis lands several calf kicks. Jabs from van Steenis bloody
the nose of McAleenan. Van Steenis clinches and pushes McAleenan
against the fence. McAleenan jumps for a guillotine choke. He
doesn’t have it. That was a huge mistake. Van Steenis gets out and
is in half guard. Van Steenis is landing short punches. McAleenan
is trying to use the cage to stand up, but is unable to. The
referee once again warns both fighters to work. Van Steenis creates
space and lands more punches before stepping over to mount
position. McAleenan gives up his back before securing half guard.
90 seconds left. Seconds after having mount, the referee asks van
Steenis to work. The fight ends with McAleenan screaming from the
bottom instead of trying to get up.

swelling. Hughes is in control, landing body kicks and knees. Nice
left hand from Di Franco lands. Hughes is being very patient and
not throwing much. A leg kick scores for Hughes, who then eats a
left hand and then an elbow to the neck. The round ends with Hughes
landing another leg kick.

A nice left hook lands for Hughes at the beginning of the second.
Hughes goes back to the leg kicks, targeting the foot of Di Franco.
The British fighter ducks out of the way of a Di Franco charge.
Hughes is comfortable being on the outside, pecking away with leg
kicks. Nice left hand from Di Franco lands. Halfway point of the
round. Di Franco lands a nice jab and avoids the counterattack.

With lightning speed, Hughes lands a gorgeous right hook. Di Franco
is totally out and falls to the floor.
Wow! A sudden
knockout for Hughes that showcases his power.

Round 1

Referee Paul Crossley is in the cage. McGrillen-Evans comes out
aggressively. Philpott is composed and is able to slam a leg kick
and then deck McGrillen-Evans with a right hand. There’s a lot of
movement from McGrillen-Evans, but very little actual offense. A
left hook from McGrillen-Evans is blocked. Philpott catches a kick
from McGrillen-Evans and takes his opponent down. McGrillen-Evans
gets back up. Philpott ducks under a left hook and then lands a
knee to the body. McGrillen-Evans throws a knee that is blocked. As
McGrillen-Evans comes in, he keeps getting tagged by Philpott. A
big left head kick lands for Philpott. McGrillen-Evans lands a left
hand and then tries to work the body, but mostly punches the air.
Philpott gets a takedown but doesn’t secure the position, which
allows McGrillen-Evans to take the back as the round ends.

Round 2

McGrillen-Evans gets in the face of Philpott and is looking to land
the left hand. A head kick for Philpott lands twice as
McGrillen-Evans throws wildly. McGrillen-Evans picks up Philpott
and dumps him onto his back. A huge takedown. McGrillen-Evans takes
the back and is looking for a rear-naked choke. McGrillen-Evans has
a body triangle. McGrillen-Evans has over three minutes to work and
look for this submission. Philpott tries to scramble but can’t get
out of the body triangle. Philpott is able to get out of danger and
recovers half guard. However, McGrillen-Evans is able to take the
back again, so all that effort was for naught.
McGrillen-Evans slaps on a sudden rear-naked choke, and Philpott is
forced to tap!
