Ultimate Fighting Championship
CEO Dana White took to social
media on Thursday to reveal a trio of fights that will be featured
on the much-anticipated card.

Former light heavyweight champion Jiri
Prochazka
(29-4) will take on Aleksandar
Rakic
(14-3), former bantamweight champion Aljamain
Sterling
(23-4) will debut at featherweight against Calvin
Kattar
(23-7) and Bo Nickal
(5-0) will toe the line with Factory X product Cody
Brundage
(10-5).

Prochazka is coming off a Round 2 technical knockout loss against
Alex
Pereira
in their vacant light heavyweight title meeting at UFC
295. Rakic, on the other hand, will return to the Octagon following
an ACL tear sustained in the final frame of his outing against
Jan
Blachowicz
back in May 2022.

While Rakic was initially slated to face Blachowicz in a rematch at
UFC 297, the bout was canceled after the Pole was forced to
withdraw from the match due to a shoulder injury.

Sterling will make his featherweight debut against Boston’s
Calvin
Kattar
on the back of his title loss to Sean
O’Malley
at UFC 292. Meanwhile, Kattar will attempt to return
to the win column having recorded back-to-back losses against
Josh
Emmett
and Arnold
Allen
. In his meeting with Allen in October 2022, “The Boston
Finisher” suffered a Round 2 TKO loss due to a knee injury which
has kept him out of action ever since.

Finally, one of the most celebrated prospects in all of mixed
martial arts, Bo Nickal
will look to extend his record to 6-0 after recording his second
Round 1 finish in the UFC against Valentine
Woodburn
at UFC 290. Nickal’s scheduled opponent, Brundage, is
currently on a two-fight winning streak having most recently
recorded a slam knockout against Zachary
Reese
in the very first frame of their meeting on Dec. 2.
