Jorge
Masvidal
claims he is not done with Colby
Covington
despite having
reached a plea deal
in a criminal case that dates to March
2022.

Masvidal was accused of attacking Covington outside a Miami
steakhouse hardly a fortnight removed from their UFC 272 clash,
which “Chaos” won via unanimous decision. On Monday, “Gamebred”
pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor battery charge as part of a plea
deal to have two felony charges of battery and criminal mischief
dropped.

While Masvidal is relieved that the lawsuit is finally over, he
claimed his saga with Covington is not done during a recent
appearance on „The MMA Hour.”

“I don’t know when, but me and Colby are going to see each other at
some point, whether it’s in a f—ing cage or I don’t know where the
f—k it’s going to be,” Masvidal said. “We’re going to see each
other. For him lying on my name, for him pressing charges, for
everything he’s done, we are going to see each other. It’s going to
be fun, man. It’s going to be interesting. I’m going to knock the
rest of his teeth out. I got to knock two of his fake ass teeth out
[in March 2022].

“[If] we see each other, let’s handle it, bro, like f—king men –
and that’s all it is. It’s not like I lose sleep over this guy or
cheer for him or hate on him. I don’t give a f—k, really. But
whenever I see his ass, he’s got to answer for all those comments
he said in the past and for putting me through this case and
bulls—t…They took away my guns. I’m in Miami. I have to have my
guns – motherf—ers are wild. They took away my guns, bro. They said
I couldn’t have my guns while I have an open case.”

Masvidal retired from the sport in April following a decision loss
against Gilbert
Burns
, which put the Miami native on a four-fight losing
streak. Meanwhile, Covington is scheduled to challenge Leon
Edwards
for the welterweight title at UFC 296 on Dec. 16
despite having not competed since his clash against Masvidal.
