Pyfer initially announced the pairing on social media, and it was
later confirmed by
MMAjunkie.com. UFC Fight Night is expected to take place at the
UFC Apex in Las Vegas. A headliner has not been confirmed.
Pyfer has impressed since earning a contract on Dana White’s
Contender Series in 2022, as he’s scored back-to-back first-round
knockouts of Alen
Amedovski and Gerald
Meerschaert in his first two UFC appearances. Pyfer ahs won
four straight fights overall, all via KO or TKO.
Alhassan, meanwhile, has been victorious in two of his last three
UFC bouts. Most recently, “Judo Thunder” knocked out Claudio
Ribeiro in the second round of their clash at UFC Fight Night
217 on Jan. 14. All 12 of Alhassan’s professional wins — including
six in the UFC — have come via KO or TKO.
