Danis is scheduled to make his return to combat sports in a
boxing match against social media personality Logan Paul
on Oct. 14.

The bout will be on the undercard of the KSI vs. Tommy Fury event
and takes place at AO Arena in Manchester. The card will air on
pay-per-view via Dazn. Danis vs. Paul is scheduled for six,
three-minute rounds and will be contested at 195 pounds, according
to
MMAjunkie.com.
Danis, a training partner of Conor
McGregor, drew attention for his brash personality after
signing with Bellator MMA. He earned a pair of first-round
submission victories from 2018 and 2019 but hasn’t competed for the
organization since then. In early 2022, Bellator president Scott
Coker claimed that Danis was
ready to return, but nothing has coming to fruition with the
California-based promotion. Last November, Danis had an
altercation with Nate Diaz
outside of Madison Square Garden. Danis was previously slated to
box KSI in January before withdrawing from the bout.
Paul, meanwhile, lost a split decision to KSI in his professional
boxing debut before facing undefeated champion Floyd
Mayweather in an exhibition match in June 2021. More recently,
Paul has ventured into the sports entertainment realm as a
professional wrestler with WWE.
