Legacy Fighting Alliance
’s first card on Brazilian soil led to
an exciting night of fights. Headlining the LFA
111
card was a lightweight fight between prospects Rangel
Ribeiro de Sa
and Ismael
Bonfim
. The well-matched fight was tightly contested with both
fighters having their moments in the opening rounds. Bonfim (15-3)
would land a nice knee to the head of de Sa (10-2) in Round 3,
which showed he was the superior fighter. Bonfim would take a
unanimous decision win with scores of 28-27, 28-27 and 29-27.

The co-main event saw bantamweight Marcos
Breno
make his mark against Ary Farias.
Breno (14-2) landed a walk-off knockout early in Round 1
with a huge overhand right
that left Farias (10-3) out cold.
The fight was called off after just 56 seconds.

In a bout between experienced lightweights, Arthur Lima
took on Rodrigo
Lidio
. It was Lidio (12-2) that landed early as he floored Lima
(9-3), who quickly recovered and managed to get a takedown to
control the rest of Round 1. However, Lidio landed
a huge left hook in Round 2
that knocked Lima completely out.
The win officially came at the 23-second mark of the second
frame.

In light heavyweight action, Rodolfo
Bellato
impressed against
Carlos Eduardo Souza Custodio
. Bellato (7-1) hurt Custodio
(5-2) on the feet early in the first frame and later sunk in a
rear-naked choke for the submission win at the 3:05 mark. „Trator“
is now on a two-fight win streak.

Unbeaten lightweights Kaue
Fernandes
and Luan
Andre
Souza
Sardinha clashed for 15 minutes. While Fernandes (6-1)
was in control early on, Sardinha (8-0) would mount a comeback in
the second frame to even the bout with aggressive striking.
Sardinha would carry the momentum into the third round against an
exhausted Fernandes, which resulted in a unanimous decision victory
(28-26, 28-26, 28-27) for „Panterinha.“

Strawweight prospect Yasmin
Castanho
made a statement against
Maristela Alves do Nascimento
. Castanho (5-0) was able to

lock in an armbar early in Round 1
and forced Nascimento (4-1)
to finally tap at the 4:20 mark. „Monster“ has now finished four of
her five victories.

The main card opened with a battle between undefeated heavyweights
named Eduardo. In the end, it was Eduardo
Jose Neves
(4-0) that kept his record spotless. The Brazilian
was able to connect with heavy punches that clipped Eduardo
Weslley
(1-1) and
finished the fight in just 57 seconds
.

In preliminary action, strawweight Stephanie
Bruna Luciano
won a split decision over
Michele dos Santos Oliveira
in an upset; middleweight prospect
Lucas
Fernando
knocked out Joao
Vitor Ramos Dantas
with a flying knee at 2:29 of Round 1; and
Luan
Lacerda
submitted Tayron
Pedro
with a heel hook at 1:06 of Round 2.
