Jimmie Rivera has received a 90-day medical suspension following UFC Fight Night 131 this past Friday.
The New York State Athletic Commission released a full list of medical suspensions from the event, which took place at the Adirondack Bank Center in Utica, N.Y. In the evening’s headliner, Marlon Moraes knocked out Rivera with a head kick and follow up punches just 33 seconds into their bantamweight encounter. Moraes, meanwhile, received a mandatory seven-day sit.
Elsewhere, Daniel Spitz is facing a 90-day layoff following a second-round knockout loss to Walt Harris in a featured heavyweight affair. The NYSAC does not reveal specific injuries when releasing medical suspensions.
