Both athletes from the interim featherweight title bout at UFC 284
could be sidelined for a significant period of time.
According to medical suspensions released by the Combat Sports
Commission of Western Australia, Yair
Rodriguez and Josh Emmett
are facing potential 180-terms following their 145-pound clash in
the UFC 284 co-main event on Feb. 11. Those suspensions can be
reduced with physician clearance. Rodriguez defeated Emmett via
second-round submission to capture the interim featherweight
championship.
