Championship featherweight muay thai title with a unanimous
decision over Superbon
Singha Mawynn in the
ONE Friday Fights 46 headliner on Friday at Lumpinee Boxing
Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. All three ringside judges scored it
for the defending champion.

Superbon leaned on a well-honed counter game that was equal parts
craft and power, drawing a number of respectful smiles out of his
opponent. Tawanchai answered with thunderous kicks to the body and
lead leg, maintained a steady pace and seemed to pull away in the
championship rounds. Thudding push kicks to the midsection kept
Superbon off-balance, even as the two men neutralized one another
in other areas. Tawanchai proved superior in terms of output when
it mattered most, turning back the challenger with a series of
kicks to all levels and occasional close-range elbows in the fifth
round.
Meanwhile, Prajanchai
PK Saenchai avenged a May 2022 and set the crowd on fire while
doing so, as he unified the undisputed ONE strawweight muay thai
championship with a savage first-round knockout of Joseph
Lasiri in the co-main event. Prajanchai slammed the door 1:28
into Round 1. Lasiri let his pride get the best of him. He crashed
forward on the 396-fight veteran and walked into a trap. Prajanchai
created the necessary space with his right forearm and connected
with a crushing crash-and-burn left elbow. Lasiri kissed the canvas
in a prone position, his hands covering his face, and could not
answer the referee’s count.
Further down the card, Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom called upon deft
head movement, crisp combinations and crowding forward pressure, as
she laid claim to the interim ONE women’s atomweight kickboxing
championship with a unanimous decision over Anissa
Meksen in their five-round showcase. Meksen operated behind an
effective jab and three-, four- and five-punch volleys. However,
she could not match Phetjeeja’s relentless pace. The 21-year-old
moved toward Meksen and cut loose with right hands over the top,
kicks and knees to the body, occasional leg kicks and her patented
combo: a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head. Once
it was over, the resigned look on Meksen’s face told the tale.
Elsewhere, surging Scotsman Nico
Carrillo improved to 26-3-1 with a sensational knockout of
Nong-O Hama
in the second round of their bantamweight muay thai feature. Hama
bowed out 1:28 into Round 2. The Evolve MMA rep controlled much of
the first round with a series of blistering leg kicks but could not
keep his 25-year-old counterpart at bay. Carrillo pinned the
legendary Thai fighter in the corner with punches and elbows, reset
in open space and weathered an attempted rally. He stepped into a
devastating elbow that leveled Ham where he stood, leaving him
unable to answer the referee’s count.
Finally, Seksan
Or Kwanmuang recorded the 200th victory of his career with a
contentious split decision over River Daz in
a hotly contested three-round catchweight muay thai attraction at
140 pounds. Two of the three ringside judges submitted scorecards
for Seksan, who waded through heavy fire—he absorbed a high kick to
the throat at one point—with spinning attacks and timely bursts of
offense.
