Sean
Strickland
will make his first Octagon appearance in two years
when he locks horns with Wellington
Turman
in a welterweight bout on Oct. 31.

Combate
was first to report the booking. The UFC event is
headlined by a middleweight showdown between Anderson
Silva
and Uriah Hall
and is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Strickland hasn’t competed since he was injured and underwent knee
surgery
following a motorcycle accident
in December 2018. Strickland
last appeared at UFC Fight Night 138, where he scored a
second-round TKO of Nordine
Taleb
in October 2018. “Tarzan” is 7-3 over the course of his
promotional tenure.

Turman has lost two of his first three bouts in the Octagon. Most
recently, the 24-year-old Brazilian suffered a first-round knockout
loss at the hands of Andrew
Sanchez
at UFC Fight Night 174.
