The main event lived up to expectations with both fighters putting
on a display of grit and will. In the end, Budhwar managed to
secure a split-decision victory that could have very well come down
to his performance in the final frame of the bout.

In the co-main event, welterweight champion Darkhanbek
Ergeshev
(11-2) secured an impressive submission win at the
2:26 mark of the very first frame against Jason
Solomon
(9-4). Ergeshev’s forward pressure and cage control
allowed him to eventually take the fight to the ground. Once in
mount, Ergeshev was able to swiftly lock up a kimura, forcing his
opponent to tap.

Meanwhile, in another featherweight matchup on the card,
Afghanistan’s Abdul
Azim Badakhshi
(14-3) extended his winning streak to four with
an emphatic 18-second knockout victory against South Korea’s
Hae
Jin
Park
(10-4).

Elsewhere on the card, Mandeep
Prajapati
(2-1) recorded a Round 1 technical knockout victory
against professional mixed martial arts debutant Abu Samad
(0-1).

Earlier on the card, former Cage Warriors competitor Yuki
Angdembe
(4-1) fought his way to his fourth professional
victory against Egypt’s Mohammad
Mahmoudian
(2-4). Following a dominant striking display in the
first round, Angdembe managed to secure an arm-triangle submission
at the 1:28 mark of Round 2.

In another bantamweight matchup, Sahil Rana
improved his record to 8-1 with a hard-fought unanimous decision
victory against Dorde Stojanovic (6-4). The surging bantamweight is
now on a two-fight winning streak following a razor-split-decision
loss to Clinton D’Cruz at MFN7 in 2021.

In one of the most thrilling bouts on the card,
bantamweight-turned-flyweight Clinton
Kenin D’Cruz
(6-0) retained his undefeated status with a
unanimous decision victory against Govind
Singh
Ale (7-3).

In the sole middleweight bout on the card, Dushan
Burale
(5-2) made a successful return to the cage with a
victory against Sameer
Dhiman
(0-1) 2:09 into the opening round, while flyweight
veteran Himanshu
Kaushik
(7-5) notched a unanimous decision victory in a rematch
with Musa Raish (3-4).

The only women’s bout on the card saw Arunachal Pradesh’s Sonam
Zomba (4-1) register her fourth professional victory via TKO in
Round 1 against late replacement and professional MMA debutant
Rashmi
Jain
(0-1).

The second fight of the event between Arshiyan
Memon
(6-0) and Nongmaithem Bon Jovi ended via technical
knockout after Bon Jovi injured his right leg at the 3:28 mark of
the first frame. In the opening fight of the card, Satyam
Kumar
(1-0) fought his way to a Round 3 TKO victory against
Jatin
Chaudhary
(0-1).
