The
Professional Fighters League‘s inaugural Middle East and North
Africa season is coming to an end with four championship
fights.
While the bill has gone through some slight transformations on
weigh-in day, all eight title fight participants successfully made
weight for the event. This show serves as the preliminary portion
to the
2024 Season PFL Championships event later that day. It will see
PFL MENA fighters compete for gold in five-round fights in the
welterweight, lightweight, featherweight and bantamweight
divisions. Two fighters missed weight: Lilia
Osmani, who came in 2.3 pounds over the atomweight limit for
her amateur fight against Hattan
Alsaif. Their tilt has been transformed into a 109-pound
catchweight affair. Per MMA

Pinedo reportedly weighed in six pounds above the featherweight
cap, and he has been replaced by Gabriel
Braga against Jeremy
Kennedy.
The new main attraction will see Maraoune
Bellagouit take on Abdullah
Al-Qahtani for the PFL MENA featherweight title. Bellagouit
(6-1) will look to bounce back from his first career defeat, which
came to Islam Reda.
Meanwhile, Al-Qahtani (9-2) is also coming off a loss after losing
a decision to Abdalrahman
Alhyasat, who withdrew from the scheduled main event with an “urgent health problem.” Both men came in under the 145-pound
limit.
PFL MENA 4 will air live on ESPN+ starting at 7:15 a.m. ET/4:15
a.m. PT on Friday.
