The Professional Fighters League is going forward with introducing
a women’s featherweight division in 2023, and that will begin with
a full lineup of 145-pound talent on the Challenger Series.

The organization on Wednesday announced the four featherweight
bouts set for the PFL Challenger Series, which airs Feb. 3 on Fubo
TV at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT. The 145-pound edition of the Challenger
Series will be headlined by a clash between IBJJF world champion
Amanda
Leve
and Olympic judoka Naranjargal
Tsendayush
, the first Mongolian fighter to compete under the
PFL banner.

The other three featherweight matchups for the Challenger Series
are as follows: two-time PFL competitor Jeslen
Mishelle
vs. American Top Team export Evelyn
Martins
; undefeated Poland native Karolina
Sobek
vs. Dutch judoka Senna
van der Veerdonk
and New Zealand national wrestling team member
Michelle
Montague
vs. professional debutante Shaquita
Woods
.

“As the PFL continues its growth we are excited to unveil our
women’s featherweight division,” said PFL president of fighter
operations Ray Sefo.
“Through the Challenger Series, the PFL will give eight of the best
female featherweights an opportunity to showcase their talent with
the chance to earn a PFL contract.”

In previous years, the PFL only offered women’s fights at 155
pounds. That introduction of a featherweight division began at the
PFL Championships in November, when Aspen Ladd
edged Julia Budd
via split decision in a 145-pound showcase.
