Gall added, “Punk lasted 2:14 with me, which is pretty impressive. MJ lasted only :45. Punk has almost triple the time of ufc experience.”

UFC 225 is now available on Amazon Prime.
On Saturday night, former World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Phil Brooks — better known as “CM Punk” — makes his return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In his second appearance inside the Octagon he is scheduled to take Mike Jackson to kick off the main card of UFC 225 in Chicago.
Punk had his first fight in September 2016 against the young prospect Mickey Gall. Punk was completely outclassed in the fight before Gall eventually locked in a rear-naked choke and finished the fight in 2:14 in the opening period. Jackson (0-1), also lost to Gall via submission, but in 45 seconds seven months earlier in February 2016.
In the lead up to the fight this weekend between Punk and Jackson, MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani asked Gall for a prediction between the pair. Gall believes Jackson has the skill and experience to beat Punk but is tipping the former WWE star to walk away victorious.
