The fight was originally scheduled for UFC Fight Night 211 on Oct.
1 but was shifted for undisclosed reasons.
MMAjunkie.com was first to report the news. UFC 282 takes place
at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 10 and is expected to
feature a light heavyweight championship rematch between Jiri
Prochazka and Glover
Teixeira.
Rozenstruik has lost three of his last four Octagon appearances,
falling to Alexander
Volkov, Curtis
Blaydes and Ciryl Gane
during that stretch. The Suriname native began his professional
career with 10 consecutive victories. His resume includes KO/TKO
triumphs over the likes of Alistair
Overeem, Andrei
Arlovski, Junior dos
Santos and Augusto
Sakai.
Daukaus, meanwhile, is looking to get back on track after suffering
back-to-back KO/TKO defeats against Derrick
Lewis and Blaydes. Prior to that, the Philadelphia native
authored a five-bout winning streak that included finishes of
Shamil
Abdurakhimov, Alexey
Oleynik, Rodrigo
Nascimento and Parker
Porter in the Octagon.
