Perez confirmed the booking on social media following an initial
report from
MMAFighting.com. The UFC Fight Night event doesn’t yet have an
official location or main event.
After winning six of his first seven Octagon appearances, Perez has
dropped back-to-back fights in the Las Vegas-based promotion. The
Team Oyama representative was submitted by Deiveson
Figueiredo in a flyweight title bout at UFC 255 before tapping
to a first-round neck crank from Alexandre
Pantoja in his last outing at UFC 277.
Albazi, meanwhile, has emerged as an interesting prospect at 125
pounds after besting Malcolm
Gordon, Zhalgas
Zhumagulov and Francisco
Figueiredo in his first three UFC bouts. The 28-year-old London
Shootfighters product owns a 15-1 professional mark overall.
