Bellator MMA heavyweight grand prix finalists Fedor Emelianenko and Ryan Bader will settle who wins the tournament, as well as the heavyweight belt, on Jan. 26 at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Both emerged victorious in their respective tournament bouts last weekend, with Bader (26-5) defeating Mitrione by decision Friday and Emelianenko (38-5 1 NC) finishing Chael Sonnen in the first round Saturday.
Beforehand, Bader knocked out Muhammed Lawal in 15 seconds in the opening round of the tournament in May; meanwhile, “The Last Emperor” finished former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight king Frank Mir in 46 seconds in April.
The tournament finale will air live on Paramount Network. No other bouts have been announced yet for the card.
