Only the prelims are listed thus far so I
won’t post the whole thing, but TV listings say Cortney Casey is
facing JJ Aldrich on March 13th— Tom Feely (@omgitsfeely)

Sign up for ESPN+ right here, and you can then stream the UFC live on
your smart TV, computer, phone, tablet or streaming device via the
ESPN app. A couple weeks before the card will happen, the
Ultimate Fighting Championship has added a flyweight
matchup. On Thursday, the UFC added Cortney
Casey (9-8) vs. J.J. Aldrich
(8-4) to its lineup on
UFC Fight Night 187. The flyweights will tangle at the March 13
fight card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, per the promotion’s
release to cable television outlets. This will be Aldrich’s first
appearance since before the pandemic.
Casey has alternated wins and losses in her last five, with losses
to Michelle
Waterson, Cynthia
Calvillo and Gillian
Robertson interspersed between victories over Angela Hill
and Mara
Romero Borella. Her last time out came in June 2020 against
Gillian
Robertson, where she fell victim to a late rear-naked choke
with less than 30 seconds left on the clock. The stoppage loss was
her first since 2013, when Pearl
Gonzalez snagged an armbar on “Cast Iron.”
Like her opponent, Aldrich has struggled to find consistency in the
flyweight division since her move up in 2019. Matched up against
the then-surging Maycee
Barber, Aldrich suffered her first career knockout loss in the
second round. Although Aldrich bounced back with a decision over
Lauren
Mueller about seven months later, her last appearance saw her
drop a split verdict to Sabina
Mazo.
UFC Fight Night 187 has undergone its fair share of changes, and
the March 13 event in the UFC Apex in Las Vegas now consists of
Leon
Edwards vs. Belal
Muhammad at welterweight. Drawing the co-main assignment is a
light heavyweight clash between Misha
Cirkunov and Ryan Spann.
Adding to the main card is a featherweight tilt between Dan Ige and
Gavin
Tucker.
