With One Championship’s debut on Amazon Prime fast approaching, the
Singapore-based promotion has finalized broadcast times for its
debut on the popular streaming service.
One on Prime Video 1 takes place on Aug. 26 at Singapore Indoor
Stadium in Kallang, Singapore and is headlined by a flyweight
(135-pound) championship clash between Adriano
Moraes and Demetrious
Johnson. The evening’s main card features six bouts and begins
at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Prime Video. In the co-main event,
Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and Liam Harrison will square off for the One
bantamweight muay Thai crown.
Meanwhile, the preliminary draw, or “lead card,” as it is referred
to by One, features four contests and airs on Prime Video beginning
at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. A welterweight (185-pound) MMA bout pitting
Iuri
Lapicus against Zebaztian
Kadestam has been added to that portion of the card.
Future One on Prime Video cards on Sept. 30, Oct. 1, Nov. 18 and
Dec. 2 are also expected to begin with at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m.,
according to the promotion.
Additionally, One confirmed that a
previously reported strawweight (125-pound) title bout between
Jingnan
Xiong and Angela Lee
will serve as the headliner for One on Prime Video 2. The card is
expected to include championship bouts in kickboxing and submission
grappling, with more details to be announced in the coming
weeks.
