Fresh out of a short-lived retirement, Steven Ray is firmly a member of team Professional Fighters League.

Ray (25-13) will be back in action on Saturday in the main event of PFL Glasgow, competing on home soil for the first time since 2017. Ray will come to blows with Lewis Long (20-7) on Sept. 28 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. Former Bloody Elbow staff member John Nash first reported the news on Thursday of the new settlement plan, one that would increase the dollar amount offered by the UFC while concluding one of the two cases against it instead of both. This new offer, agreed to by both TKO Group Holdings—the new parent company of the UFC—and the parties involved, would be of the sum of $375 million. It is still subject to approval by Judge Richard Boulware, who has overseen the case thus far. If the Judge denies this settlement agreement, the parties will still have a chance to reach another before the trial currently scheduled for February 2025.

As anticipation continues to grow for Professional Fighters League’s “Battle of the Giants” pay-per-view event, fans now know the entire fight card for Oct. 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

PFL announced their full lineup Thursday morning, which features three title fights, including two massive welcomes to the organization, a Bellator MMA title fight rematch and two of the sport’s top young fighters locking horns.

In addition to the previously revealed bouts that top the marquee, the league announced all 10 fights that will take place on Oct. 19.

While Jamahal Hill believes Khalil Rountree possesses some traits that could give Alex Pereira problems, he ultimately expects the Brazilian to emerge victorious in the UFC 307 headliner.

Pereira will defend his light heavyweight crown against Rountree on Oct. 5 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City Utah. Rountree will take a five-bout winning streak into his championship opportunity, but he has yet to fight beyond the third round during his promotional tenure.

Ankalaev is 10-0-1 with one no contest in his last 12 Octagon appearances, but the Dagestani standout won’t be facing reigning champion Alex Pereira at UFC 307 on Oct. 5 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Instead, that opportunity went to Khalil Rountree, who has won five straight in UFC competition but also recently failed a drug test.

“Certain fighters have a long road to the title, like Khabib [Nurmagomedov], like Kamaru Usman, like Islam Makhachev. But when they get there, they become dominant,” Abdelaziz recently told ESPN. “Listen, the UFC has different views about what they want to do with Alex Pereira. They want him for Utah. Multiple outlets confirmed the news after UFC Roster Tracker brought word of the signing via X. De Ridder, who held titles at 205 pounds and 225 pounds in ONE, is expected to compete at middleweight within the Las Vegas-based promotion. A date for his debut has not been confirmed.
