Both Dakota
Ditcheva
and former
Ultimate Fighting Championship
contender Taila
Santos
recorded Round 1 finishes in their
PFL 1
appearance at the Boeing Center in San Antonio Texas on
Friday night. While both got the job done in the first frame,
Ditcheva currently occupies the top spot in the rankings since she
managed to finish Lisa
Mauldin
three seconds before Santos ended her clash with
Ilara
Joanne
.

Following a successful PFL debut, Santos was quick to divulge who
she’d like to take on next during a post-fight media apperance.

“I’d like to fight Dakota,” Santos said. “I feel like she is on a
hype train right now. I don’t feel like she has fought anyone as
tough.”

While Ditcheva is more than happy to face the challenge of going up
against a former UFC contender, “Dangerous” was also quick to hit
back with a retort of her own after learning what Santos had to say
about the quality of her opposition.

“I mean, it would be a very good fight, we’re both two elite
strikers so, it would be very good. But I don’t know what’s going
to play out in the next round. Could be the next round that we face
each other, not the finals,” said Ditcheva. “And I know she
commented on one of my posts before saying she wants Barbie’s belt,
which is a European belt first off, so, she can’t have it . And
two, she’s got to get it off me, so she wouldn’t be getting it
either, but yeah, it would be a really exciting matchup and a very
good fight. I respect her a lot and [she] is someone I’ve watched
as well.

“I mean she got beat by Erin
Blanchfield
, right? Did we watch Erin on the weekend? She
didn’t have the best performance, and Erin beat her so that’s all
I’ve got to say on that.”
